At WCE, we believe in providing our students with a smooth transition into college life. Our induction program is designed to familiarize students with the college environment, academic policies, and support services. We have a range of activities and events, including orientation programs, ice-breaking sessions, and campus tours.
Each student is assigned a mentor, who provides guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
We also have a range of support services, including academic advising, counselling, and career guidance.
Student Induction Program (SIP) 2024
A comprehensive five-day Student Induction Program (SIP), aligned with AICTE’s holistic development guidelines, was successfully held from 17th to 21st September 2024 on the college campus. The initiative aimed to help students transition smoothly into the academic and cultural environment of professional education by offering structured familiarization and orientation activities.
The program attracted participation from 794 first-year students, with 28 insightful sessions conducted by experts across domains. Sessions covered a spectrum of topics including academic systems, career pathways, human values, emotional well-being, entrepreneurship, and soft skills.
Renowned technocrats, educationists, and thought leaders were invited to inspire students, sharing transformative insights and career guidance.
