Extracurricular activities :

Worked as Secretary of I.S.T.E Sangli Chapter from Aug. 1982 to Aug 1994. during the period no of programmes were organized . A few of them are as bellows.
                  a] One Day workshop on “ Vibration Monitoring for preventive Maintenance .”
                  b] Get –Together with Industrialist from Sangli , Satara , Kolhapur District.
                  c] Birth Centenary program of Seth Walchand Hirachand in the Year 1984.
                  d] Visit to Koyanangar and Tilari Power Plant alongwith staff and their families.
                  e] Organized guest lectures on life sketch of Great personalities like Sir Mokashgundam Vishwewarayya , Seth                   Walchand Hirachand etc.

Worked as Chief Editor of the College Magazine from 1985 to 1996.

Worked as Admission Incharge for First Year Diploma – 30% Regional admission round and institute level also. Similarly worked as Admission Incharge for Second and Third year direct admissions.

Worked as Secretary, Seth Gulabchand Research Foundation of W.C.E. , Sangli for 2 years., During the period.

Administration :

“Entreprenuership Manangement Development “ Centre for Polytechnic from A.I.C.T.E. , New Delhi , under which the grant of 8 lakhs received by the Ploytehcnic and every year @ 4 lakhs will be received as recurring grant.

“Community Polytechnic Scheme “ from Ministry of H.R.D. , Govt. Of India Under which the grant of 14.25 lakhs was received by Polytechnic and every year @7 lakhs will be received as recurring grant.

Maharashtra State Certificate in Information and Technology –Network Access Centre was brought to the Polytechnic Wing of the Institute from Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd, Pune.

Three days workshop on “ METALLURGY FOR NON METALLURGIST” for Industrial engineers in association with American society for Metals, India chapter during 27th to 29th August 2000.

I.S.T.E , Sangli Chapter received Best Chapter Award for the year 2001, instituted by I.S.T.E. , New Delhi.
