Incubation and WEIC

WALCHAND ENGINEERING AND INNOVATION COUNCIL - (Incubation Center)

(A section 8 company as per statutory requirements)

The institute is dedicated to creating a supportive ecosystem for engineering & technology startups, offering mentorship from industry leaders. Recognizing this initiative as a new form of experiential learning, the institute is already nurturing ideas for product development and business incubation among its students.
WEIC serves as the primary engine for driving innovation and fostering a robust ecosystem for scaling ideas into impactful ventures at Walchand College of Engineering. The incubator is an intrinsic extension of the institute’s experiential learning ecosystem.
We recognize that in the modern technical landscape, classroom instruction must be augmented by practical application and entrepreneurial thinking. Therefore, WEIC acts as a vital link in the learning-innovating process, through an integrated ecosystem for experiential learning.
"By providing a structured environment where students and faculty can design solutions, build prototypes, and navigate market realities, we bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world impact."
